The Data Formats Working Group has approved the field definition for the EZB licence assignment in MARC field 920. This means that a dedicated, standardised MARC field will now be available for the licence assignments maintained by the EZB. The EZB’s OAI-PMH interface has already been adapted accordingly. The EZB licence assignment is provided via field 920. The field now includes the following subfields:
- $a: URL-BIBID
- $b: EZB anchor
The EZB licence assignment is used to assign a license within the EZB to a set of title records (title list). It consists of the URL-BIBID optionally supplemented by the EZB anchor. The URL-BIBID is either the EZB-package-ID (identifier of an EZB package) or EZB-BIBID (identifier of a library participating in the EZB). The EZB anchor delimits the total collection of titles in the EZB package or library. For further information, please visit: https://www.ur-library.de/en/oai-pmh/
