EZB DBIS Anniversary

Save the Date!

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Electronic Journals Library (EZB) and the 25th anniversary of the Database Information System (DBIS), celebrations will be held in Regensburg on September 22, 2027. To mark this milestone, the EZB and DBIS conferences will also taking place in Regensburg on September 22 and 23, 2027. We will publish further information in a timely manner on this page and via our mailing lists.

Anniversary Publication

Over the past decades, we have achieved important milestones in collaboration with numerous libraries, consortia, research institutions, and other partners. Through this close cooperation, EZB and DBIS have been continuously developed, adapted to new requirements, and integrated as an integral part of the scientific information system. To honor the dedication of the many institutions and individuals who have supported and shaped this development, we are planning an anniversary publication „Wissenschaftliche E-Ressourcen erschließen und vernetzen – 30 Jahre Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek (EZB) und 25 Jahre Datenbank-Infosystem (DBIS)“.

This collection aims to shed light on the development of both systems and, in particular, to highlight their interconnection with other library services, specific integrations, and practical experiences. The publication is planned to be available in both print and open access formats.
